Recap 2010 Journey

Greeting!!. Recap what had happen on 2010. Year 2010 I will say is so so year for me. Nothing really much happen.

Early of the year, On the good sight, I manage to hatched 41 heads of corn snakes. Which most of it I sale it off and keep few babies corn that I hold on as didn't have the specific morph in the collection. During this year too, I started collecting Few of leopard Geckos with variety of morph and also I manage to hatched 6 heads babies Leo. As for snakes, I finally found my wish list Boa since 07. I had managed to get hold on the Rosy Boa, what fantastic about it, I managed to get both normal and albino Rosy Boa. During that time too, I found back two of my missing snakes, My Brazilian Rainbow that missing since 2009 and Malayan Blood Python missing since January 2010. Rainbow boa finally come out from hiding after 6 month and since that she had been traded to a friend as for Malayan Blood Python she just come out from my house drain after the raining season and she still reside aggressively here after not holding here for more than 6 months.

On the Bad Sight, Few of the Leopard Geckos that I acquired go to heaven, Don't know why, I must suspect bacterial infection infested in their stomach or maybe heat stroke. That all I can think off. As for Snakes, One ball python died because of prolapse. Only If they were a good reptile Vet here I believed she can be save and also one Corn snakes died while in hibernation, even thou the corn snake wasn't mine, I still feel bad about it, The main course of that I assumed food rotten in the stomach during hibernation as I found the snake waste all over the dead corn snake. Lesson to remember which I repeatedly mention to hobbyist who wanted to breed their snakes. Do not hibernate your snakes with full stomach.

Mid Year animal exhibit that I attended was crap one, with very hot and small tents until few of my animals are sick and died. Heck didn't even get a bottle of drinking water for it nor anything, purely waste of time but my final year end Mini Zoo exhibition was a blast. With huge peoples turn out queuing to see all the animal. Credit to Raymond the Burmese Python, he such a Star and friends that came to help me out. You all in my list for the next next events. Just to avoid confusion among reptile enthusiastic. I'm not and never in any Brunei animal group, association or whatever they called it. Peoples that help me out in my animal exhibits are my friends, they were never my crew.

Signing off with greeting for this New Years. Let Party!! Go get drunk!! Go get laid!! Make love to your girlfriend/boyfriend and wife/husband!! Be smart!! To human breeder, Don't play it to rough. Don't involve in car accident!! Remember the love one!! Be civilized!! and wake up with fresh Happy New Year 2011.

What a nice surprise

Just few days ago, on my last post. I mention I found 2 +1 eggs of leopard Geckos in my Leo enclosure. Well what do you know, they just hatched today. They must have been in the enclosure for quite sometimes. I just skip the long wait of the leo incubation time. Man!! they just hatched after few days I removed them. They sure can hatched with whatever substances. Although I wont dare to risk it incubate it like that.

Babies SHTCT
Hatched 28th Dec 2010
So this is my 6 babies leopard I ever hatched. I'm not really an Leopard geckos person but I do keep some in my collection. What I'm going to do with this babies. Im not sure yet, I'm thinking to give it to my brother for him to keep.

At the same days, After the pinstripe just finish shedding, the previous night, I let my male Mojave in her enclosure. It didnt take long for the action going on. That her six locked so far.

1.0 Mojave X 0.1 Pinstripe

And Finally, THe 1.0 Lesser is on breeding mode.

Finally after 2 months trying to make him mate with few of my female ball python. He finally lose his virginity with my female Reduced pattern. What a relieve. He is not incompetent after all. After this will let the lesser rest for few day and will try to mate her with the 0.1 pastel. Wow Lesser pastel in the making.

Two Plus One

What do you know. My Shtct Leopard Geckos laid another 2 eggs and the others female laid one eggs. Well I actually didn't realize that this female laid their eggs. Not really concentrate in Leopard Geckos nowadays. Maybe snakes keeping really is my main keeping attention. From the look of the eggs, two eggs look fertiles to me and the other one eggs seem infertile. But I just incubate them all and just wait if the interfile looking egg turn yellowish or gone bad.

At the same days, I feed 0.1 pinstripe heavily to insure that she had enough fats if she become gravid and maybe lays for me a lot of eggs as I been breeding her will My 1.0 Mojave and 1.0 Pastel.

In the same days too, I managed to saw some action between my 1.0 Mojave and 0.1 Bumble bee. So far this pair had been mating for more that 10 times If I'm not mistaken.

Overall I'm quite satisfied in this year breeding project, as few of my snakes already mated. Corn, Milk and Ball python. What ever It was let see in this coming few months. Maybe and Maybe only some local Morph snake will be Born in Brunei.

To my Bruneian friends and My reader who celebrate Christmas. I wish you Jingle bell Jingle bell Jingle all the Way. A happy Merry Christmas for you and Your love one. Viper Out \m/ and olo to you too..keh keh keh ngeh ngeh ngeh.

Guyana Red Tailed Boa

Boa Constrictor are distinctive snakes with broad head. They can grow up to at least 3 m (10 feet) long. The front end is a dark cream color with large brown blotches that sometimes become redder near the tail end.
The boa's home range include Central and south America where they habitat dry wood and scrub land. They are good climbers, Once again, these snakes are rodents feeder and readily eat dead mice and rats.

What is red-Tailed Boa? As a rule, boas from the rain forests, and especially the Amazon basin, have tails of deeper red than boas from drier areas. these boas are usually referred as"Red Tailed boas". Most are the subspecies B.c Constrictor, The amazon basin boa.

Sorry for lack of updates, as I'm been extremely busy the last couple of weeks, When I got time to updates then the broadband that I bought are broken and need fixing.

My breeding season so far had been great, especially Ball python and colubrids. I'm sure some of you have seen my ball python breeding pictures, Colubrids, I'm not going to show you guys the pictures as I have shown you people from my last years post. Just wait In March.
No worry it my 3rd years breeding Corn snakes which I think I have 5 or 6 clutches already. It will become affordable. This time all Corn Babies will be very very cheap. Kasi mati all the reptiles importer. Normal Cornsnakes will start around $75 up to $200 with the triple gene cornsnakes.

For the people that help out on my last Mini Zoo exhibits for the DST Carnival on the 3rd to 5th December. Thank you so much. You Been Very Helpful (I'm Sure you guys having fun too). For the Visitor, you been very greats, Didn't expected will be that packs and too little time.

Lastly, Visit my animals exhibits another time but Not anytime soon, Too many exhibits easily bored people and too many animals exhibit show make people copy the idea. Even though I could have another one actually In January even though It a huge one (well that what I think), But So sorrylah, I have to decline it nicely. Contact saja orang lain, Durang mau mau saja tu walau pun bepanas. As I say many time. It too soon to make another one and it too early to show it again. Peace \m/.
