Wish List for 2011

I have collected few number of snakes, with my collection of almost 50 snakes yet, I had never satisfied and always wanted to add few more species. I been googling this python species for quite sometime now. I think I need this species in my collection. Sooner or later, This species I got to own at least a pair.

Bismarck ringed python is a monotypic genus containing the non-venomous python species found on the islands of the Bismarck Archipelago. This snakes that stay relatively small and reach only about 1.50 m of length as adults. They are beautiful snakes that cannot be confounded with any other species. The babies are bright-orange-banded, in the 8th to 10th month this striking color changes to a golden-yellow to dull-yellow ring pattern.

Even though if I couldn't get this species this year. There always next year, next next year, As if the world going to end soon. Some how some days. I will get a pair of this BISMARCK RINGED PYTHON.

Dam (Apricot Pueblan)

And my leopard gecko egg just hatched again. I think 3 eggs already hatched this month. 2 mocha Super Hypo and this super hypo.

Hatched 21st Jan 2011
Super Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail(SHTCT)

Still one more eggs haven't hatched, It is also shtct, Its was laid on the 9th Jan 11. Two eggs laid actually but one eggs gone bad.

Those Milk snakes expected to hatch most probably in March and so do the solo leo egg. Very excited to see the outcome of those babies Milk. As it was my 1st ever successful laying eggs by a Milksnake.

Got one more pair that I'm also trying to breed. Both are Tangerine Honduran Milksnake. I just witness one copulation so far. To insure it fertility and successful pairing. I will keep pair them together until I'm sure that the female Hondo show any sign of gravid.

Feeding Brandon Spider Ball python

Been Taking care of Brandon Spider Ball python Since last year November. The intention was to breed her Spider Ball python with my Male Ball python. She had since mated with my male pastel for an number of time. Hoping to get Bumblebee from that pairing. Hoping it will be successful pairing. I did however try to use 2nd male to pair with that spider Ball, But till now, I haven't got any result by using 2nd male. Anyways, His spider just shed today. So while waiting for Brandon to come over my place to feed her, I try to feed her 1st with Syrian hamster I just purchased. I think She sure hungry after her shed. She strike instantly and constrict the Syrian hamster from the moment I offered her.

Perfect skin shed

At the same time, I feed me other python. The Green Tree Python, Burmese and Blood Python.

Green Tree Python( didnt Realize she was in shed)

Malayan Blood Python

After Merely half n hour, I checked on Brandon Spider Ball python, Well She just leaved the hamster uneaten. I try teasing that spider and swing the hamster in her face, yet still she refused to strike it back. Maybe the hamster was to big for her. Such a stubborn spider. Remember Brandon told me that she don't like to eat bigger meal. LOL..Luckily I got a rubbish collector in the collection. Take the dead hamster and throw it to my Albino Burmese(Brüno Gehard) that what I name him. That Burmese never refuse.

Nowadays. I'm feeding Bruno heavily, As I want to make him bigger. Let see if he can compete with Raymond on which are more likable. So wait and see..

Corn Stud for Season 10/11

This Ghost Stripe or pastel Stripe is my Corn Stud for this season. Its a triple recessive morph corn snakes with it base mutation: Anery, Hypo and Stripe gene in one. A three year almost four years old this year. I had used him once last season to breed with my 0.1 Amel Stripe but my 0.1 Amel Striped failed to produced eggs last season. So this years I'm using him again to breed with my others female corn to prove that he is a star stud in my collection. What I believe what ever female I breed him will be a one super nice corn babies.

Ghost Stripe/ Pastel Stripe

All my female corn expected to laid end of this month or early February this year. A bit late this season not like my other previous season which usually laid early January. I actually not really into breeding Corn Snakes this Season even thou that had been out of hibernation for quite sometimes and been thinking to rest those breeder for this season but then after some thought then I decide to re-breed them and only pair them in Mid December. So meaning that next season I will rest all my female breeder next season n replace them with newer female that I myself breed last two season.
The Pueblan Milksnake that in my last post had shed and refused to eat last 2 days.. That A good sign. So hope that she really do lays eggs this time. YEAH YEAH YEAH \/.

I think She is Gravid

So what do you think? Is she gravid? Well I think she is gravid. I'm not 100% sure she is gravid really as I never had any eggs before with breeding Milksnakes. This snakes I had try breeding her last season and it was unsuccessful. This season I breed her again and after few successful mating, she had all the sign of being gravid and not like last season without any indication that she being gravid.
Firstly, why I think she is gravid is as she be gaining weight and getting heavier. Secondly, She refused to eat which is a good sign when a snake being gravid. Lastly, her stomach seem like she been eating eventhou she had been refusing meal for the last two weeks.

Apricot Pueblan Milk snake

What you think? Gravid?

This 0.1 Pueblan Milks snake on deep shed at the moment. I will check if she eat after she done shedding in this few days. I'm hoping that she will still refuse, as that will indicated clearly that she really are gravid and going to lays her eggs soon after. I read an article before that a milksnakes as being colubrids species usually will lay eggs between 7 to 14 days after shedding.
I'm quite excited in this as if this Milksnakes do lays her eggs, It will be my 1st ever successful milksnakes breeding. The male that I had pair with her is with my orange Pueblan Milksnakes. So it will be more exciting to see what will the babies look like. I will update in my blog regarding this snakes in this coming 2 weeks to see if it was a successful pairing.
My other milksnakes that I will try to breed is the Tangerine Hondoran Milksnakes. Will try and pair her with another Male Tangerine Honduran in this few days as I'm still waiting for the male to finish shedding. That also another breeding project that I also seriously will look into this year. In the mean enjoy looking at the pictures and wait for my update on this result.
