Biak Green Tree Python

The long awaited post. The one and only one Green Tree Python in my collection. A three years old female GTP. Green Tree python(GTP) or Chondro which found in New Guinea, Island in Indonesia and Cape York peninsula in Australia. The color pattern of this species vary from where they are locality, For e.g My Biak GTP race is more aggressive and also the largest of chondro families. A typical Biak GTP had larger head and yellow marking on their head or body or both. The color start with yellow or reddish as a babies although some individual may be blue or black.

This Green Tree Pythons are the dream of many reptile hobbyists. They are one of the most stunning species of snake known to the pet trade, a real gem of the rain forest. Green Tree Pythons are arboreal (tree dwelling) and nocturnal (active at night), making this species incredibly difficult to find in the wild and highly valuable.

Note: Green Tree Python is a display snakes.
